Adobe Premiere Rush - YouTube Video Editor

Adobe Premiere Rush - YouTube Video Editor

The new Adobe Premiere Rush video editing program has a full suite of YouTube-friendly assets.  I'll discuss how to use the program to boost your YouTube channel.

Adobe Premiere Rush - YouTube Video Editor

Adobe Premiere Rush is a new editing program designed to help video creators and YouTubers alike to edit better videos, faster. The software features an easy to use interface, big easy buttons to click on and a suite of animated motion graphic templates to use. And you'll be surprised to learn how much YouTube-related titles and graphics you'll have at your disposal. I'll run through these YouTube elements to show you where they are and how to customize them for your next video.

All the YouTube goodies can be found inside the Title Tool, clicking on the Title icon in the upper right hand corner will open the tool bar. Browse through all of the graphic templates and you'll discover a few graphics tailored specifically to YouTube creators.

The first to note is a call to action graphic that animates your likes and sub count; this could be a cool graphic to use to help encourage viewers to take action and subscribe. Hop into the Edit tab to make changes to the call to action graphic, to edit the like and sub count to match your channel.

The next is a simply animated subscribe button, nothing too fancy but cool nonetheless. You typically see these buttons pop in at the bottom of the screen, but certainly you can place it anywhere you please.

The next is a simple title to be used for anything, it defaults to the Follow Us text. This can also be resized and placed anywhere you see fit. You can edit the text and colors on this graphic with ease.

There are also emoji icons.  Now, emojis aren't necessarily YouTube related, however, who can't use a little emoji action from time to time.

There is also a graphic that looks to be an end screen used to close out the video and/or ask viewers to subscribe, etc. You can change the text and colors easily in the Edit controls.

They even provide a YouTube end card template! This is actually pretty cool looking. I know a lot of us out there could use a better end card presence. This will help you get there.

Overall, aside from the awesome YouTube graphics, any graphic in this program could be used for a YouTube video, but these templates certainly help shortcut your way there. What do you think of these graphics? What do you think of Premiere Rush? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
